Tamsin Wojcik
Criminal defense lawyer
I defend people charged with DUI and drug offenses in Baltimore, and I help people clear the old charges that still follow them.
I spent my first years in practice in the busiest courtrooms in the city, watching people stand up for a charge with a lawyer they'd met that morning. Most of them didn't need a big firm. They needed someone who'd read the file, explained it in plain words and picked up the phone.
That's the office I run now. One lawyer, a flat fee you hear on the first call, and texts answered by the person who'll stand next to you in court.
I live in Hampden and ride the light rail to the courthouse most mornings.

How I run a case
You get my cell number. Texts are fine, and I answer them the same day, including weekends.
You see what I see. When the video, the reports and the lab results arrive, I send them to you and we go through them together.
You make the calls that are yours to make: whether to take a plea, whether to go to trial. My job is to tell you the odds honestly before you do.
Talk to me before you talk to anyone else
The first call costs nothing and stays between us.
